Covid-19 - Challenges and Responses

The advent of Covid-19 has had worldwide repercussions. It has impacted virtually all areas of life and presents significant new challenges for the global sport movement as well as for the health and education sector. Over the past couple of months, we have thus seen a notable impact on a number of work areas that require flexibility and innovation to overcome.

This webinar will present areas in sport, sport science and education which have been severely affected by the pandemic. It will discuss, among others, the impossibility to participate in physical activity and sport, health-related consequences, the economic impact on sport organisations and work processes regulated by governance procedures (statutes, bylaws and other policy documents).

Renowned international speakers from various regions with expertise in sport, sport science and education will present their findings and draw conclusions.
